Come to our Rethinking Food Delivery drop-in this Saturday

Restaurant food delivery has exploded in recent years, but at what cost?

Drawn in by the choice and convenience of delivery apps, have we paid enough attention to the social and environmental impacts: increased moped journeys; a mountain of plastic packaging?

We're hosting a drop-in session this Saturday 23rd October at Yeshi Ethiopian Food, 328 Hornsey Road, N7 7HE to explore these issues and to share our mission to make food delivery more ethical and sustainable.

You can check out the Yeshi Ethiopian Food menu and order via Wings here.

We'll be there from 1pm until 4pm and would love to see you there. We'd love to hear your thoughts for a greener future over some free vegan Ethiopian food.

Our session is part of a series of events hosted around Islington designed to engage the community in a conversation about how the borough can be more environmentally friendly. Find out about the other events happening here on the Islington Life website.

You don't have to book a space at our drop-in session, feel free to show up whenever suits you. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you think might be interested in joining us for free food and a chat about the future of food delivery.

We look forward to seeing you there!
