Profile: Paletart UK – the naturally delicious ice cream artisans

The newest addition to the Wings platform is a unique dessert specialist that serves artisanal Colombian ice creams. Paletart UK is a family-run business that uses fresh, all natural ingredients to make their bring their unique formula treats to life.

The recipe was developed by CEO Jenny Henao, an agro-industrial engineer from the National University of Colombia. Her specialist knowledge was honed while doing a master’s degree in food engineering from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. The result is Paletart UK, with a menu that blends nutrition with deliciousness.

Jenny’s innovative menu has something to suit every taste. There’s an Oreo option for anyone with a sweet tooth. The Infusion de Café is their Colombian Coffee offering, with Bela Chai available for anyone who prefer chai tea. There are plenty of options for anyone who prefers something fruity, from your classic passionate and mango in the form of their Maruya to more adventurous combinations, such as the Guarate, which blends red fruit tea with gurana and chunks of strawberries.

Each dessert is designed to stand out from anything your standard ice cream parlour has to offer. The team pride themselves on having a combined flavour and texture that you won’t find anywhere else.

“We create proposals with fruits and ingredients that provide memorable experiences,” they say, “We are strong believers that all food products must provide nutritional values.”

They’ve also made an effort to create an inclusive menu that features plant-based and gluten-free options.

One of the most exciting things about working with Paletart UK is how frictionlessly their values align with our own! They’re already putting a lot of energy into reducing their carbon footprint as much as possible and creating an environmentally friendly business.

“Our goal is to make our products eco-friendly,” they told us, “Which is why we have made sure our ice cream packaging is made from corn starch, making it 100% compostable and biodegradable.”
